Alresford Community Choir

Winchester Cathedral 27th June 2015

Well done to all singers for a fantastic effort, and a hugely entertaining performance of all items. Dancing Queen, Thank You For The Music, and You Raise Me Up, seemed particular favourites. Thank you for being flexible enough to move from the Quire to the Nave - a much more appropriate setting for our hour of fun!

Our Next Full Concert...      July 4th

...will include that wonderful work:

Ahoy! Sing For the Mary Rose

and, in the first half, a selection of American Music to celebrate July 4th and the banner of

The Stars and Stripes!

St John's Church, Alresford

Tickets are now on sale at 6West in Alresford. Don't leave it too late to buy yours!

To ACC for theit wonderful performance at Cascades: Winchester Cathedral Flower Festival on June 27th. What a lovely sound spreading throughout that wonderful building! So many people in the audience shared their favourable impressions of the choir. Yet another triumph.

Well done!

Earlier this year, on May 17th, the choir sang at the Watercress Festival, and gave an excellent account of the choir’s ability to present a wide range of pieces from earlier repertoire. The singing tone, intonation, and diction were excellent throughout.  The audience, including many visitors to the town, was very impressed. Well done ACC!
